THE OWL HOUSE – “A Lying Witch and a Warden” – When Luz stumbles upon a portal to a magical realm, she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and a tiny warrior, King. (Disney Channel)
KING, LUZ

As we get amped up for The Owl House to premiere on Disney gives us a fun music video with Hooty and the Parliament as they give us a parody take on the Madness song Our House, with Owl House taking the place of the aforementioned Our House. While Hooty is known to be the guardian of the Owl House, he is now known to front the prominent super rock band as well. Some other animated shows have been taking this parody route and love that Disney has gotten into the game with this one as it fits perfectly.

Luz, a self-assured teenage girl, accidentally stumbles upon a portal to a magical world where she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and an adorably tiny warrior, King. In order to get home, Luz must help them with a mission.

This fun video with The Owl House characters really gives you a nice introduction to the show as we get ready to watch the start of the show on January 10th. This has been one of our most anticipated new shows and hope that it lives up to the hype we have given it, but with the amazing characters it looks like a hit. We are happy to see that there is a solid story with Luz trying to make her way home, as we are sure it is going to be a fun ride getting her back.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
