There is some new info on the live-action Sulphur Springs show coming to Disney Channel that is set to begin production in New Orleans in 2020. So we have some talent Kelly Frye, Madeleine McGraw, Kyliegh Curran, Landon Gordon, Preston Oliver and Josh Braaten as seen in the picture and we love the fact that they are relatively free from other Disney shows in the demographic. This will keep the show fresh for us as we are seeing some of the actors in the show.
We are intrigued by the information of “time travel mystery series” and with the popularity of shows like Stranger Things it makes sense for Disney to put together a similar show but for a younger demographic. The fact that it takes place in an abandoned hotel seems like classic paranormal and we think that will be a good thing as they delve into the mystery of the place. Plus for a television show on this allows them to keep the amount of sets down and in turn use their budget effectively we would think.
Now we wait as we look for some video teasers of the show to give us a little bit more insight into the vibe we are going to get from Sulphur Springs coming to Disney. We are so looking forward to Sulphur Springs On Disney Channel.
“Sulphur Springs” follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell, whose family has just uprooted their lives to move to a new town and take ownership of an abandoned hotel in hopes of restoring it back to the lively vacation destination it once was.
