Anti-Motion Sickness Glasses – Our Thoughts

A few things to note about us, we travel by car for all of our vacations and we have two children that get motion sick in the car. So what that means to us is if we see a product that might help save us from bringing gallon sized plastic bags for vomit we tend to try them out. With the Anti-Motion Sickness Glasses that we have used, these are just opinions based on our observation, nothing more nothing less. You can find these types of glasses on online in many places from many brands. Below is what we observed on our trip to Silver Dollar City which is 17 hours away so we got lots of time in the car.

Our daughter and son used the glasses about 5 minutes into the car ride and then they would put them back on for a few minutes every hour or so for the trip. We can say that they did not get an upset stomach or throw up for the whole trip in the car, which was a first for us. Normally they will both get sick at least 2 or 3 times during a trip of that length. Not only that, but while having the glasses on they were also watching their devices and reading a book, two things that should have set them off in terms of stomach issues. The return trip produced the same results as well as another short trip a few weeks later.

We are not going to get into the science of why or how these glasses should work, we can only give you our experience and for us, whether physically or mentally these glasses are helping we can’t tell but they seem to be working and solving our issue of motion sickness in the car for the children so far and for that we are thankful. We also have another family that we are friendly with on the other side of the country use them as well and provided the same successful results. Based on the price, they are worth a shot and also make for some funny pictures.
