Season Four of Bunk’d is a treat for all the fans, and even though we will not have the Ross siblings we are still excited to see what Lou (Miranda May) does with Camp Kikiwaka that she purchased for a dollar from the Ross family.
After purchasing Camp Kikiwaka—for one dollar—from the Ross siblings, the always cheerful Lou is adjusting to her new duties as camp director with her usual brand of over-the-top enthusiasm. She’s thrilled to be reunited with campers Destiny, Finn and Matteo, who have returned for another exciting summer full of fun and friendship. Lou also welcomes some new faces, including camp counselor Noah, an upbeat and enthusiastic actor from Hollywood; Ava, a tenacious counselor from the big city; and Gwen, an eccentric new camper who has spent her entire life living off the grid.
Season Four of Bunk’d will premiere on Thursday, June 20 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT) with new episodes on Thursdays at the same time. While we look forward to Lou, Gwen, and Noah we have to say we were not all that impressed with Matteo, Finn and Destiny as characters last season. Let us hope that they grow on us a bit more as we watch Season Four of Bunk’d. We love Israel Johnson in Schooled so we have high hopes for his character on this show as an actor from Hollywood. That should be a perfect fit for the show, and we also get Ava who has that big city attitude, while Gwen has been living off the grid so it should make for some interesting experiences as she gets introduced to new things. We really think that Shelby Simmons, from Andi Mack, is really going to be a bright point on the show.
“BUNK’D” stars Miranda May (“The Heartbreak Kid,” “Samantha Who?”) as Lou, Raphael Alejandro (“Once Upon a Time”) as Matteo, Will Buie Jr. (“Daytime Divas”) as Finn, Mallory James Mahoney (Disney Channel Original Movie “Adventures in Babysitting”) as Destiny, Shelby Simmons (“Andi Mack”) as Ava, Scarlett Estevez (“Daddy’s Home”) as Gwen and Israel Johnson (“Schooled”) as Noah.
While we will not see the Ross family of Emma Ross (Peyton List), Luke Ross (Cameron Boyce), Ravi Ross (Karan Brar) and Zuri Ross (Skai Jackson) we can always hope that they may make a guest appearance during the show.
