DUCKTALES – “What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!” What Does This Mean For The Show

Della Duck will be a game changers for the new DuckTales show and it seems like we are getting closer and closer to figuring out how they will handle the character. In the next episode of DuckTales, which we feel like we have been waiting forever for, “What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!” we see how Della survives on the Moon and how she is looking for a way to get back to her family on Earth.

DUCKTALES – “What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!” – Della struggles for survival against dangerous elements of the Moon, as she looks for a way to get back to her family on Earth. This episode of “Ducktales” airs Saturday, March 9 (8:00-8:30 A.M. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

It is interesting because at first I thought the appearance of Nancy Green on Big City Greens was going to create all sorts of issue and chaos to the character interaction of the show. That being said it has not and my guess will be no matter what happens with Della Duck she will not become an integral character in the show. How they deal with her not showing up all the time on DuckTales though remains to be seen. We still have to get her home from the Moon though and DUCKTALES – “What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!” should start answering those questions.

While we would not mind seeing Della Duck from time to time, we are a bit hopeful that she either gets lost again or has to go on some mission that takes her away from the main characters. The dynamic of characters in the reboot is working very well and there can always be issues when the cast grows to a size that is too large to sustain the story. We want to hear Della’s story, but not at the expense of Scrooge and his interactions with the kids and their adventures.
