Andi Mack is a great show because it tackles real world situations for teenagers without seeming preachy. The team will try again to talk about another important issue in today’s society, gun safety in this new two-part arc. The first episode “Cookie Monster” will air today and take the Andi Mack team through a new journey.
ANDI MACK – “Cookie Monster” – The critically-acclaimed series “Andi Mack” will present a story arc on gun safety in two new episodes airing FRIDAY, NOV. 16 and FRIDAY, NOV. 30 (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET/PT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

Before we get into that situation, we will also get a surprise visit by Bowie’s mother, Cookie Quinn, hence the name of the episode, so it will be interesting to what brought her there. It also seems that Buffy and Jonah will learn a secret about their school principal, but the meat of this two episode arc will be about gun safety.
Andi, Bowie and Bex are surprised by an impromptu visit by Bowie’s mother; while hanging out with T.J.’s friends, Cyrus faces a dangerous situation; Buffy and Jonah learn a secret about their school principal.
We know that Cyrus is going to be in a difficult situation, which we can assume with involve a gun while he is hanging out with T.J’s friends. We see there is a guest of a Reed, played by Parker Queenan and also a police officer who gets involved during the gun situation. We seems to hear that the gun gets involved in some unsupervised target practice. How Cyrus will handle the situation will be interesting.
What is great is that these two episodes, “Cookie Monster” and “The New Girls,” were developed with the consulting of child development experts. The episodes will also include a public service announcement about gun safety.
