Brenda and Alicia on the day of the ice rink cookie build reveal, as seen on Holiday Cookie Build, Season 1.

The Cooking Channel is introducing a new show on November 9th, Holiday Cookie Builds, and it looks like it will be another fun family holiday show. Brenda Nibley and Alisha Nuttall from Salt Lake City will be making some wonderful pieces for the holidays. The season will consist of six half-hour episodes where they team will create these items for their clients’ events. Not only will they have bakers, they will have a carpenter as they create items including “a five-foot-tall nutcracker, a life-sized turkey, a replica of Salt Lake City’s famous clock tower, and a motorized basketball-themed Santa Claus cookie complete with fruit-flavored basketball cake pops.”

Premieres Friday, November 9th at 10:00pm ET/7:00pm PT

Over six half-hour episodes, Alisha and Brenda dream up incredible cookie designs, and with the help of their Gingerbread Dream Team of amazing bakers and even a carpenter, create decadent treats in time for their clients’ events. Other edible creations this season include a five-foot-tall nutcracker, a life-sized turkey, a replica of Salt Lake City’s famous clock tower, and a motorized basketball-themed Santa Claus cookie complete with fruit-flavored basketball cake pops.

In the premiere episode which is where the picture is from, we get to see Brenda and Alisha with their ice rink cookie build with fondant figurines for a local figure skating coach. They also find a way to make the skaters move around on the “ice” as they also include mint chocolate thumbprint cookies. We will get to see them do the life-sized turkey and cornucopia made from rice cereal, a replica of their local street built with gingerbread buildings, and a log cabin for a fundraiser among other things.

We can’t wait to see how all of these things come out and if the picture of the ice rink is any indication we are excited!

Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
