Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin at the Australia Zoo.

We are really excited that the Irwin family is coming to Animal Planet this Sunday October 28th as Crikey! It’s The Irwins premieres to continue on Steve Irwin’s legacy. Terri, Bindi and Robert will give a new and returning audience access to all the adventures they have while continuing their conservation efforts. We will see them running the Australia Zoo In Queensland as well as travelling the globe to protect and celebrate many different animals.

Crikey! It’s The Irwins will show the family working together to help more than 1,200 animals at the Australia Zoo, overseeing a wildlife hospital as well as conducting all sort of expeditions that will bring the audience closer to wildlife. We will learn how Terri expanded the Australia Zoo, we will be introduced to Bindi as she focuses on the Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Hospital and we will get to meet Robert and his expertise on all the animals around him.

In the season premiere of the show we will get to see Robert try to feed Graham, a rather large crocodile at the zoo who was originally recused by his father Steve. Steve’s best friend Wes has been helping Robert through this process. Bindi will tend to a rescue koala that has given birth to a set of twins, which is a rare occurrence.

During the rest of the season the audience will get to see the Irwins transport a giraffe named Scarlett for a breeding program, release of rescued and healthy wildlife including a turtle, Grub and a baby echidna. The family will also travel to Lady Elliot Island, the coral cay of the Great Barrier Reef.

We are excited to start watching this show as a family as another family, The Irwins, take us on this great adventure.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
