HUEY, LAUNCHPAD MCQUACK
There is some new DuckTales Season 2 information making its way around, and it focuses on who will be seeing (hearing) in terms of guest stars on the show. Hopefully we will also find out what the heck is happening with Della Duck as we dip our webbed feet into some new episodes.
In Season 2 of DuckTales we are going to get Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Edgar Wright, John Hodgman (The Venture Bros.), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Libe Barer (Disney Star Darlings) and Lance Reddick all doing voice work for the show. We can only imagine what sort of exciting characters they will be voicing, but here is hoping we get to see some of the old school DuckTales villains introduced into the reboot. While this version of DuckTales is really hinging on Della Duck and what has happened to her, it will be interesting if she continues to stay on as a regular or if Della will be someone who ends up having a closed end storyline. We think Paget Brewster did a great job in the last episode of Season 1 with the character and look forward to seeing what she does in Season 2.
We are super excited to find out what character Julie Bowen will be voicing as we love her character on Modern Family and think she is super funny. This is a huge guest list of voice talent and we are excited to hear all of these stars put their talents to a wonderful reboot of the classic DuckTales.
Season 2 of DuckTales will debut on Disney Channel and the DisneyNOW app on Saturday October 20th at 7:30 a.m. so make sure you get your sleep the night before. We are so looking forward to the new season!
