DUCKTALES – “The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck!” Full of Artifacts

Magica is back at it trying to get Scrooge’s #1 Dime and in this version of DuckTales she will be using Lena to help her accomplish that. Lena is going to use her friendship with Webby to go to a facility that has a bunch of artifacts from Scrooge’s adventures to find the dime, but from the looks of the teaser, Scrooge will take it from around his neck to put it in this Other Money Bin. From the drawings that Webby has, she is trying to figure out where the extra Money Bin is, but it seems that they do find it. From what Lena says, there is a mystical room in Scrooge’s house that contains secrets.

DUCKTALES – “The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck!” – Lena’s loyalties are tested when Magica forces her to lead Webby on a raid to a facility full of Scrooge’s most dangerous artifacts to find his #1 Dime. This episode of Ducktales airs Saturday, July 21 (9:30 – 10:00 A.M. EDT) on Disney Channel.

We just want to go on record here to say that this feels a lot like The Dragon’s Graveyard episode of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon where we got to see all of these really neat magic items. The fun part of seeing all these DuckTales artifacts will be how many Easter Eggs will they be able to fit in? We have seen some pages from the Great Book of Gummi in an episode, what other things might you expect to see?

Webby has to hold off a unicorn with a diamond dagger in the video, it just feels cool even typing that. The two pictures we have are of Tenderfeet/Gavin who seems like some sort of bigfoot character, but we really don’t know too much more. This episode should give us some more insight into Magica De Spell and why she is stuck in shadow form. After re watching the original DuckTales episode where she separates her shadow to steal Scrooge’s dime, there may be some cross over.
