DUCKTALES – “McMystery at McDuck McManor!” Birthday Bash

We are going backwards a bit as we get DUCKTALES – “McMystery at McDuck McManor!” this Friday, May 25th which is tagged as episode 111, which puts it before “The Spear of Selene!”, “The Missing Links of Moorshire!” and “Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System!” in terms of episode numbers. What is interesting is this should have been the next episode after we see the shadowy form of Magica De Spell after DUCKTALES – “Terror of the Terra-firmians!”, which was the Halloween special, with Lena. Hopefully this new episode will give us a little more information on both Lena and Magica De Spell. It is a party after all why wouldn’t they invite their new friend Lena. This could also take us down the path of is Lena really that good? Did she have something to do with Scrooge disappearing? This is all hopeful conjecture though at this point.

DUCKTALES – “McMystery at McDuck McManor!” – When Scrooge unexpectedly disappears during his birthday party, Huey, Dewey and Louie find themselves hosting a mystery party where everyone is a suspect. This episode of “Ducktales” airs Friday, May 25 (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT) on Disney Channel.

Scrooge doesn’t look too happy in the picture and from what we know of Scrooge he is just probably upset he had to spend money on a party. You know though, it is interesting that we really don’t get the Scrooge is cheap feeling from most of the new DuckTales episodes, not like the original series and comics. Anyway we also have the kids dressed up to throw this bash, and we wonder who is actually on the guest list. It could make for some interesting new character intro”duck”ions as there are still a bunch of characters that could make an appearance. Our guess is Scrooge just ends up wanting to be alone for his birthday, but we shall see how it all turns out this Friday.
