Clifford The Big Red Dog Back In 2019

Clifford The Big Red Dog is back in 2019 as Amazon Prime Video and PBS Kids team up to give us a new animated series in Fall of 2019. The show which is based on the Norman Bridwell books was a favorite or our children growing up and it is great that a whole new set of children will be able to watch Clifford.

The new series featuring the rather large dog will have new songs as well as the characters that made the original so fun including Emily Elizabeth. If all goes well the show will be a three-season reboot of the original and will run for 39 episodes. There should be some new locations for the series and it will be an educational program that helps develop social skills, so you can feel good about allowing your child to watch it. This may also be the start to getting the live-action film adaptation that we all want and that has felt like has been put on hold multiple times.
