A new Pokémon manga series POKÉMON SUN & MOON will by released on May 8th and it will have awesome locations, all sorts of villains, and a bunch of new characters for all old and new Pokémon fans. The manga will be rated ‘A’ for All Ages and will be released exclusively in print and will be published by VIZ media every four months. The series will feature the work of artist Satoshi Yamamoto and writer Hidenori Kusaka and we are all exited to read the new series which will feature Sun, Moon, Professor Kukui, a special Pokédex, along with some hindrance from Team Skull and a mysterious Pokémon.
In this new Pokémon story arc, Moon is on her way to deliver a rare Pokémon to Professor Kukui in the Alola region when she meets his good friend Sun, a courier entrusted with a special Pokédex. Sun offers to safely deliver Moon to the professor’s lab… But then they tangle with a group of grunts from Team Skull and are attacked by a mysterious Pokémon! What is this sparkling stone the mysterious Pokémon leaves behind…?
In addition to this awesome announcement, VIZ Media has acquired the rights to POKÉMON POCKET COMICS: CLASSIC, coming Fall of this year, and POKÉMON THE MOVIE: I CHOOSE YOU tie-in manga to give you a lot of new reading material. The POCKET COMIC books will feature stories, jokes, puns and cool statistics about classic Pokémon from the first two generations. The manga for the 20th Pokémon movie, which will be available in Winter of 2018 will return to the beginning!
