My Little Pony Saved By The Bell

The Eighth Season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is coming on Saturday, March 24th at 11:30a/10:30c on Discovery Family. To really get everyone excited for the launch of the new season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic the team creates an all-new super fun musical spoof and this year it is all about Saved By The Bell. The music video inspired by the theme song of the Saved By The Bell Show is called Saved By My Friends. The fun part is that the ponies will be venturing outside of Equestria to open their own School of Friendship this season.

“When I wake up in the morning, gotta keep some puffs from forming and I gotta get to Twilight School by noon… It’s alright ’cause I’m saved by my friends!” Don’t miss the first new episode of season 8, airing on Discovery Family on March 24th at 11:30am / 10:30c!

This really took us back as we get to see the same styling with the titles as the Saved By the Bell show as well as the fun lyrics that fit right in with the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show. Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy all make an appearance in the video. The either season of the show will feature 26 half hour episodes with all new original songs and fun new characters.

New episodes of the Hasbro Studios’ produced animated series will also stream live and on demand on Discovery Family GO, the network’s TV Everywhere app.

The season will follow the events of “My Little Pony: The Movie,” with premieres of “School Daze Part 1” and “School Daze Part 2,” where the Mane 6 make a discovery that the Friendship Map shows a bit more than just Equestria now. Twilight Sparkle will decide to open her own School of Friendship, but where a new character makes a bad decision the school could be in jeopardy. This season will also show the introduction of Starlight Glimmer’s parents and Princess Celestia’s big acting debut.

The Mane 6’s Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are accompanied by six new creatures including Ocellus the Changeling, Silverstream the Hippogriff/Seapony, Smolder the Dragon, Gallus the Griffin, Yona the Yak and Sandbar the Pony, joining them on epic adventures throughout new and familiar lands such as Mount Aris, Everfree Forest, Las Pegasus and more. Fan-favorite characters Maud Pie, Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Queen Chrysalis and Discord return with exciting storylines and a whole lot of magic!
