Kim Possible Live Action Casting

Casting has begun for one of our favorite animated shows on the Disney Channel turned live action and we take a look at who we would want to play each one of the characters in the “Kim Possible” Live Action Movie. While this is going to be a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) and budget will be a constraint we just opened up the check book and cast who we thought would fill the roll with no regards to other projects or budget.

Casting has begun on a live-action “Kim Possible” movie for the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, 16 years after the popular character – a typical high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from evil villains – debuted in the animated comedy/adventure series that became a global hit. The series was lauded for its empowered female role model who uses her brain, heart and expertise to save the day. Throughout 87 episodes and two original animated movies, Kim Possible traversed the social hierarchy of high school and, with her hapless sidekick Ron Stoppable and his naked mole-rat Rufus by her side, thwarted power-hungry villains Drakken and Shego, among others.

Take a look at who we cast below and let us know your thoughts over on social media. Also we still shed a tear for Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure over at Epcot that we used to love.

Kim Possible – Meg Donnelly went blonde for her role in “Disney Zombies” so we could see her go red for “Kim Possible.” We like her attitude and think she would fit great for the character of Kim.

Ron Stoppable – Nolan Gould would be our choice here. He plays the same sort of character on “Modern Family” and would make a great Ron. We toyed around with Meg’s co-star over at Zombies, Milo Manheim, but think Nolan would be a stronger choice especially with the fact he works so well with who we chose for Wade.

Shego – Megan Fox. She looks like the animated Shego with the hair and always plays a character with a personality to match Shego as well. This was probably the easiest pick of all.

Señor Senior, Sr. – we all mourn the loss of Ricardo Montalban, as he could have played this role well. We will have to say that we go with Daddy Yankee here as our choice.

Señor Senior, Junior – Prince Royce would be our choice here

Wade – Rico Rodriguez plays a smart character on “Modern Family” that would fit perfect for Wade

Dr. Drakken – Ken Jeong is my choice and while he may not fit the exactly what we see from the animated form of Doctor Drakken, we think his personality is what would put him in the role.

Rufus – we have heard he will be CGI, but we would really love to see him as a puppet like they did with Yoda in “The Last Jedi,” but that would be asking a bunch. His voice work was limited so we don’t think we need to worry about it so much but we would bring back Nancy Cartwright.

Bonnie Rockwaller – Emilia McCarthy would be our choice here especially as she will be introduced to the Disney watchers from the last DCOM as a cheerleader already.

Ann Possible – You need to bring back Christy Carlson Romano to the movie and this would be the most fitting role for her.

Monkey Fist – Hugh Jackman as Monkey Fist makes sense to us.

Professor Dementor – The Rock even though we know the Professor to be short, there is something about the personality and muscular build that screams The Rock.

Jim and Tim Possible – Dylan Boersma and Casey Boersma

Dr. James Timothy Possible – Ryan Reynolds, this just came to us, it just seemed to fit.

Monique – Can you really see anyone besides Zendaya playing this role?

Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
