THE LION GUARD – “The Golden Zebra”

Now that the holidays are over we are starting to new episodes of some of our favorite shows and Tuesday, January 9th gives us a new episode of The Lion Guard, “The Golden Zebra” which stars Tony Award winner Renee Elise Goldsberry. You may know Renee Elise Goldsberry from Broadway’s Hamilton and she will be guest staring as the zebra leader, Dhahabu. Rico Rodriguez and Raini Rodriguez from “Modern Family” and Austin & Ally” show up as zebra siblings Raha and Starahe.

THE LION GUARD – “The Golden Zebra” – Facing a water shortage in the Pride Lands, the Lion Guard must appease zebra leader, Dhahabu, to gain access to a new watering hole. Tony Award winner Renee Elise Goldsberry (Broadway’s “Hamilton”) guest stars as Dhahabu. Rico Rodriguez (ABC’s “Modern Family”) and Raini Rodriguez (Disney Channel’s “Austin & Ally”) guest star as zebra siblings Raha and Starahe, respectively. This episode of Disney Junior’s “The Lion Guard” premieres TUESDAY, JANUARY 9 at 9:00 a.m., ET/PT on Disney Channel.

There is a water shortage in the Pride Lands and the Lion Guard has to keep all the animals safe and happy, including the zebras. The picture shows us Dhahabu and she is a great looking zebra and during this drought, the Lion Guard will ask if they will share her watering hole. It seems that Dhahabu will use this opportunity to ask for something in return from the Pride Lands in return for using the watering hole. We don’t exactly know what this request is, but based on what we have heard from this leader of the zebras it will be something that is described as wily.

Make sure to catch this new episode tomorrow morning on Disney Junior so see how this water shortage works out and get the opportunity to meet Dhahabu and the rest of the zebras. We may even get a song out of this charismatic zebra at some point in the show.
