DUCKTALES – “The Infernal Internship of Mark Beaks!” Pics

While some countries may have already seen DUCKTALES – “The Infernal Internship of Mark Beaks!”, the United States is getting to watch that episode tomorrow (even though it is a bit out of order) and we are excited. Mark Beaks who is based on that other tech billionaire we know named Mark, will be the owner of the company that Huey and Dewey complete to intern at. Scrooge and Glomgold will try to keep their legacy safe by teaming up to keep their new competitor at the billionaire level. It has been said that Mark Beaks is an African grey parrot in the series.

DUCKTALES – “The Infernal Internship of Mark Beaks!” – Huey competes with Dewey for a coveted internship with Duckburg’s newest tech billionaire, Mark Beaks (Josh Brener, “Silicon Valley”), while Scrooge and Glomgold team up to take this new competitor down, in a new episode airing Saturday, October 21 (8:00- 8:30 A.M. EST) on Disney XD.

Beaks looks to be the perfect complement to the Scrooge and Glomgold battle as he oozes tech, something that Scrooge does not, and he is an up and comer. It is also interesting to see how hard Beaks works, but we find it interesting that Huey and Dewey are competing for an internship there, rather than working at Scrooge’s company. It must be all the cool things that Beaks has at his company, but wouldn’t it be just as cool to intern with Gyro?

We have a few outstanding stories that we would love to get back to, including Lena and Magica, so hopefully we are right back there next week. Ducktales is doing a very good job though at keeping the big story lines in the back of your head, while not making the story about just one thing. We didn’t really love Glomgold in the series so far, so this will be an interesting litmus test to see how we feel about him seeing him another time, especially working with Scrooge.
