BIG HERO 6 – Series

Big Hero 6: The Series is an animated series that is coming to Disney XD in early 2018, while the pilot will be coming very soon. Disney has released a poster that shows us Hiro, Baymax, Gogo, Honey, Wasabi and Fred on a rocket bike and shows us both the Disney XD and Disney Now logo. The series was already renewed for a second season even before the premiere which is always exciting news.

The series is going to start right after the events of Big Hero 6 and will continue the adventures of 14 year old tech smarty Hiro and his robot Baymax. Honey Lemon, scientist, fanboy Fred, Go Go and Wasabi form the Big Hero 6 team. Hiro will face all sort of challenges while at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and will need the help of Baymax and team to make it through. They will have to use their high-tech to protect their city from all sorts of villains.

The show will also get a fair amount of their voice talent from the movie back with Wasabi and Fred not reprising their roles.

The series will be done in 2D animation which is different from the film, and also is a cost savings. The first season should consist of over 20 episodes which makes for a solid outing.
