Elena of Avalor – “Realm of the Jacquins”

Elena of Avalor “Realm of the Jaquins” will premiere on August 12th at 9 a.m. on the Disney Channel and while we have seen the trailer already, we now get a new picture with some more information. In the picture we have Luisa, Francisco, Princess Elena, Skylar, King Verago, and Ciela. We also know that Cheech Marin will guest star as Quita Moz playing an oracle, Noël Wells voices Marimonda the forest sprite. Shuriki and Victor Delgado, played by Jane Fonda and Lou Diamond Phillips, will also been seen in this television special.

ELENA OF AVALOR – “Realm of the Jaquins” – Elena travels to the magical realm of the Jaquins to save the kingdom of Avalor from a legendary forest sprite. Cheech Marin (“Cars 3”) guest stars as Quita Moz, an oracle who helps Elena on her journey and No‘l Wells (“The Incredible Jessica James”) guest stars as Marimonda the forest sprite. Jane Fonda and Lou Diamond Phillips recur as Shuriki and Victor Delgado, respectively. The special TV movie event premieres SATURDAY, AUGUST 12 at 9:00 a.m. EDT on Disney Channel.

The picture also introduces us to King Verago, King of Vallestrella and ruler of all Jaquins. He is also the father of Skylar and Nico. Ciela is also in this picture and she is a female Jaquin who is one of Skylar’s guardian Trainees. When she sees Skylar again she recognizes him as the King of Vallestrella’s son and tries to bring him to his father, but that is where things get interesting and a bad decision will lead to someone being tricked and captured. Looking forward to see what happens with Skylar after speaking to his father and what will happen to the rest of the Jaquins during this episode.
