Webby, Beakley, and Launchpad Get DuckTales Intro Videos

With the 2017 version of DuckTales coming with an hour television movie on Saturday, August 12th on Disney XD followed by new episodes starting Saturday, September 23rd, we are getting much closer to seeing what they have to offer.

Launchpad: Launchpad seems like regular Launchpad of the original series, he crashed everything in that show and it looks like he is up to the same.

Beakley: Can’t really tell too much about her from the clip, we will have to stay tuned for more info.

Webby: We get to see a sleuth side to Webby this go around, she is using some interesting equipment to get the last cookie.

DuckTales, the original, is one of my favorite cartoons of all time and I am just not 100 percent sold on this remake. While I know we can’t just get an exact rehash of what we had before, the animation style coloring just doesn’t feel DuckTales to me yet. If the stories work it will make all the difference in the world though, so that is where my hope lies, that the stories will be amazing.

From what we have seen it also looks like Donald will be playing a different role than the original and I expect to see him more in the series. We have also seen a recent picture of Gizmoduck and Fenton Crackshell, which has me excited. Also looking forward to what sort of inventions Gyro Gearloose has for Scrooge and family to use, or even to get them into troubling situations. While I am not personally as excited as everyone else by this reboot, I hope it is just a mistake on my part and I will be able to work my way past the nostalgic feeling I have for the show to embrace something new.
