Peyton Elizabeth Lee is starting to find her way through the big announcement of her sister being her mother at the beginning of the show, but just because that information is out, does not mean that this is all over. There is a lot more that needs to be worked out and the next big phase of this is going to involve her father. Well that and what is going on with Jonah Beck, but let us take one issue at a time.
Based on the previews for this episode and the pictures below (as well as the closing scene of the last episode) Andi Mack finally gets to meet her father Bowie who is played by Trent Garrett and both of them are quite surprised. The pictures show them having a pretty good time playing some bongo drums as getting to know each other. The question I think we all have is Bowie going to stay in the picture and become a regular or is this a short sort of arc we are seeing and he may pop up from time to time. Should be fun to see which direction the show goes.
Oh and on the Jonah Beck end, Cyrus and Buffy rush up to Andi Mack and let her know that Jonah and Amber have broken up. What this means for Andi remains to be seen, but I am sensing some good things happening for her.
ANDI MACK – “Dad Influence” – Andi gets invited to go on a fun adventure, but overprotective Celia makes her go to school; Andi’s glad she did because she finds out something important about Jonah and Amber. This episode of “Andi Mack” airs Friday, May 12 (8:30 – 9:00 P.M. EDT) on Disney Channel. (Disney Channel/Fred Hayes)
