Elena of Avalor has been renewed for a third season and Disney and the kingdom of Avalor is rejoicing as their crown princess is going to regal us with more adventure. Elena will continue to learn about her new roll as princess as she looks to become queen in the future, but for now the Grand Council will help along with her spirit animal Zuzo and a host of other magical creatures. There will be a few more episodes in this season starting this month with “Olaball” followed by “Flight of the Jaquins”, “Crystal in the Rough”, and “The Princess Knight” in March.

ELENA OF AVALOR – Disney Channel has ordered a third season of its hit series about a brave and adventurous teenager who rules her kingdom as crown princess, “Elena of Avalor.” (Disney Channel)
ELENA

Elena is the first official Latina Disney princess, voiced by Aimee Carrero, and she has been a huge success for Disney. The picture of Elena is one of our favorites of the show and we can see the beauty of the animation and the artistic effort of the show, Elena is truly a Disney Princess. The show is the number one series for girls ages 2-11 so it made sense to see a renewal, especially after the show received a National Hispanic Media Coalition Award and an Annie Award nomination.

“Elena of Avalor” also inspired a line of dolls and toys that have been a huge success, couple that with the fact that Elena is showing up in a lot of places in the Disney Parks we see the push to keep on top of the popularity. Everything is going right for this license and while sitting down with my daughter (6) I can honestly say that she just really enjoys watching this show. To me that is proof that Disney has a huge hit.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
