Baby Groot! Guardians of The Galaxy was a surprise hit for Marvel its first go around in theaters and perhaps Marvel and Disney didn’t quite capitalize on its success as much as it could have, especially when it came in the form of fan favorite and undeniably cute Baby Groot, who has been heavily featured in trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.
We now have an answer to filling the public’s desire for more Baby Groot with this toy debuted by EW that will be at Toy Fair 2017 in NYC for attendees to see, and hit the stores this Spring for us regular folk (though we are often at Toy Fair, I think we are skipping this year).
Dancing Baby Groot will be :
11.5-inch electronic figure lights up as it plays and dances along to a track from the official soundtrack to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 — and that track is “Come a Little Bit Closer.” Dancing Groot can also jiggle and sway along to any external music playing around him.
Dancing Baby Groot will retail for $34.99 when it hits stories. Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite Marvel Studios film to date so I cant wait to see what James Gunn has in store for us with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
