Lexy talks to us about her sister Ava on Girl Meets World as well as an upcoming show Shooter coming to the USA Network soon.

Lexy, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into acting, did your older sister influence you?
I am 6 years old and I got into acting watching my sister Ava on Girl Meets World and making home movies with her. I wanted to be on TV too, so I started going to auditions too.
Do you get to go on the set of “Girl Meets World” with your sister?
Yes, all the time, especially for the live audience shows.
Lexy, so we hear that you are going to be a very interesting USA show called “Shooter”, and once we took a look at the cast list there are a lot of star, can you tell us a little bit about your character and also who you have learned the most from while on set?
My character is Mary Swagger. I play the daughter of Ryan Phillippe and Shantel Van Santen who play Bob Lee and Julie Swagger. Mary loves her parents but a lot of stuff happens in the series that is scary, but she is brave and strong in tough situations. I learn the most from my mom Shantel on set.
This is always a question I wanted to know about, since this show is more geared toward the adults, how do they let you do your job but at the same time keep you away from the adult themes of the show?
They just have me come in for my parts and I understand that it is all make believe, so I do my best to make it real and it’s all ok.
What else are you working on besides Shooter?
I just did a movie called A Little Mermaid where I play the granddaughter of Shirley MacLaine, and other movies like Our Little Secret, Female Fight Club and The Case of Jonas Booker.
What other hobbies do you have outside of acting?
I love to travel with my family! We recently returned from our trip from Cabo a few days ago and it was so much fun! I also do musical theatre, I play soccer, sing and dance and I love to swim with my sister. And of course, I love to spend time outdoors with my family.
