The heartwarming horse drama, Emma’s Chance, is inspired by Southern California’s Red Bucket Equine Rescue organization and is heading to DVD and Digital July 5 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Starring Greer Grammer (MTV’s “Awkward”) alongside Missi Pyle, Joey Lawrence, Jennifer Taylor and Lia Marie Johnson, a young woman’s life is changed forever when she forms an unlikely bond with an abused horse.
Grammer (TV’s “Awkward,” Life Partners) stars as Emma, a young woman who must complete community service at a horse ranch following a dare gone wrong. As she spends more time at the ranch, Emma bonds with Chance, an abused horse that won’t let anyone else ride her. When the ranch is threatened by a predatory horse-buyer, Emma hatches a plan to save it and put the buyer out of business for good.
Written and directed by Anna Elizabeth James, the film was produced by Tyler W. Konney and executive produced by Barbara Greaves, Richard Switzer, Anna Elizabeth James and Blake Goza and Natalie Metzger.
Emma’s Chance premiered at the Bentonville Film Festival May 3, 2016 and is debuting on DVD and digital July 5 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This is a endearing film you won’t want to miss. You can watch the trailer below:
