I AM SO EXCITED! Disney has officially released the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequal to “Finding Nemo!” We finally have a glimpse into “Finding Dory” and it looks amazing.
“Finding Dory” follows the forgetful titular character as she searches for answers about her past and tries to recover her memories.
Taking place six months after the first film, Dory suddenly recalls her childhood memories. Remembering something about “the jewel of Monterey, California”, accompanied by Nemo and Marlin, she sets out to find her family. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark; and Hank the octopus, who becomes her guide.
In the trailer we see most of our favorite characters returning including Marlin and Nemo. The “Tank Gang” is also confirmed to be returning!
Ellen Degeneres reprises her role as the voice of Dory, and other featured roles include the voices of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ed O’Neill, Idris Elba, Dominic West, Kaitlin Olsen, Willem Dafoe and Ty Burrell. Finding Dory opens in theaters on June 17, 2016.
