Demi Lovato Puts On A Jaw Dropping Performance Of Adele’s “Hello”

Demi Lovato blew her fans away this past weekend after performing a cover of Adele’s latest top-charting single “Hello” at 106.1 KISS FM Fall Ball in Seattle, Washington. My jaw dropped.

Only a couple of weeks ago, Adele made a huge comeback in her music career with the hit single. The song is featured in Adele’s new and upcoming album, 25, which is set to be released this Friday. This is the third album Adele will be releasing. Her previous album, 21, was released in 2011 and was named the greatest album of all time by Billboard just last week. After four years of silence, this is a huge step for Adele. It will be no surprise if her new album will relive history.

Many fans and even other singers have covered a number of Adele’s songs but none really seem to come close to match her talent. It’s a voice many might not want compete with. But, with the release of the new song, the challenge would show itself to be more difficult, until now.

As a performer at the Fall Ball, Demi took it upon herself to cover the song in front of the large crowd and it was a risk worth taking. After listening to “Hello” for the first time, I felt the emotion of the song through Adele’s perspective. Usually, when you hear a song once from the original artist, it sticks with you. However, Demi not only went above and beyond my expectations but she was able to radiate that emotion to the audience – a deed that is not always easy to accomplish.

There is definitely no doubt that Demi has an amazing voice. I’m sure she can take any song by another artist and make it beautiful in her own way. With one of the most impressive covers yet, the big question to ask is who sung it better? Both Demi and Adele have unique and beautiful voices. To compare the two against one another almost seems impossible.

Demi hit every note perfectly and flawlessly. She proved she has what it takes in pushing her vocal cords to the limits. If you close your eyes when listening to her cover, it is almost difficult to point out that it’s even Demi singing it!
