Ponies Return For Second Half of Season

That is right, everyone’s favorite ponies are back with more magic, friendship and adventure in tow.

After a few months of hiatus of the first half of season five, fans of “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” can now rejoice with the return of the mane six and company as the rest of this seasons tales return to screens.

Even with Netflix posting the first thirteen episode of this season up alongside that of rest of the series for streaming; and, in addition the upcoming continuation of Equestria Girls movie line, Friendship Games, arriving in a few weeks’ time- the wait has been long.

Granted, there is always a great amount of fantastic pony merchandise and the upcoming full-length film being teased. But for fans it has been a long and somewhat pulling on the heart strings summer.

But it is great to know that the wait is no longer as the second half of season five is set to start this upcoming Saturday, September twelfth, to be more specific on Discovery Family.

To help heighten the excitement and hype (not that there needs to be any actions done to do so, fans have been waiting and jumping up and down) of what is next for Twilight and company, a new teaser trailer has been released.

Images of what is to come is naturally part of any teaser. We once more see the girls, including the Cutie Mark Crusaders, excited and enthused to the point Pinkie Pie notable mentions she is so excited she might just lose her cupcakes as she bounces around in pure glee. There is a lot of excitement and optimism not only from Pinkie Pie, but the others as well.

Twilight is seen excited to venture out a quest directed by the map, but is sadden when Spike notes that her ‘tushie’ has yet to glow like her friends. It is a light-hearted way to poke fun of how the girls are notified of their assistance needed, but with any luck it will not be done in massive amounts.

 As more images of the future dance across the screen the true thing worth noting is that of the narration, “While the magic of friendship will never fade away, some things are destined to change…forever.”

Just from this very short teaser that only ranks in at the fourth-three second mark, viewers are given a taste of what comes next for the beloved characters. Being Friendship is Magic there is questioning that a great deal of heart severed with magic and friendship are high on the list.

There is a lot of possibilities with My Little Pony, and each season seems to becoming stronger than the last and new doors are opening. The fact that it is very clearly mentioned the concept that things are going to start changing is very interesting. Over the past seasons the girls, and even their world, have changed and are seemingly ever changing. From being given the powers of The Elements of Harmony to Twilight’s new castle the mane six alone have faced changes that have challenged and even redefined who they are. Even I have to admit that I am not really sure where this might go, being too early to tell. But I am glad that they are willing to let the cast grow and change just as any person would.

But with another season already confirmed and a movie not that far off, things are unlikely to be completely shattered and have incredibly dramatic changes…at least at this point.

As of now the next four episodes have been given confirmed titles; “Canterlot Boutique”, “Rarity Investigates!”, “Made in Manehattan” and “The Mane Attraction”.

One thing is certain, the next thirteen episodes will be interesting.
