Every year, the cosplayers at New York Comic-Con seem to get better and better, with more elaborate and complicated costumes. Here are some of the best costumes found on the floor at this year’s event.

WW and Hawkeye

Wonder Woman is always a popular choice, and this one was spot on. She poses here with a great rendition of Hawkeye.

Gandalf

Gandalf supervised the floor outside the exhibit hall, keeping any balrogs from passing through the area.

Belle and Ariel

Disney princesses were in abundance, and this Belle and Ariel captured the characters well.

Harley Quinn and Meeseeks

I think Harley Quinn was even more popular than Wonder Woman this year. Here, one poses with Mr. Meeseeks.

Madoka

Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Blue Cube

Plenty of young cosplayers could be found on Sunday.

TMNT

This family did a great job bringing all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life.

Harley Quinn

I love the expression on this Harley Quinn’s face.

Steven Universe

This group came in costume from Steven Universe.

Palutena

This cosplayer chose to portray Palutena from Kid Icarus.

Aquaman

I think this Aquaman was trying to reenact Sharknado here.

Green Arrow

Green Arrow poses here with a friend (or foe?).

Yoshi

Super Mario characters are always popular at Comic-Con too, as this Yoshi shows.

Steampunk Iron Man

While I saw fewer steampunk costumes this year, this steampunk Iron Man was a great idea.

Ronin Warriors

Anime characters could also be found, as this one from Ronin Warriors.

Loki

This Loki did a great job with the villain.

Transformer Kid

This kid was dressed as a functional transformer (note the skates on his knees).

Thor

This little Thor really wanted to pose for the camera.

R2D2 and Leia

With the new Star Wars movie being released in two months, plenty of our old favorites could be found.

Dhalsim Streetfighter

Dhalsim from Streetfighter was on hand while a Streetfighter competition ran through the weekend.

Bill Cipher Gravity Falls

Lesser known characters such as this Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls could also be found in the halls.

Skeletor

Skeletor is an old favorite that can be found every year.

Vegeta Dragonball Z

Some cosplayers gender-swapped their characters, like this Vegeta from Dragonball Z.

I’m sure there were many more that I missed in the huge event. What were your favorite cosplayers from this year’s New York Comic-Con?
