Nova Rockafeller’s new single, “1990s,” has gotten the remix treatment thanks to Justin Warfield and Hot Karl! Joining Nova on the song is one of hip-hop’s strangest stories: Los Angeles battle champion Hot Karl. The single so far has been loved by fans all over the world as being catchy and full of energy.
Warfield is formerly of the band She Wants Revenge. For the remix of “1990s” he has dug deep into your guilty pleasures to find a perfect nostalgic hit from the yesteryear. Hot Karl initially signed a million dollar Interscope record contract in 2001, only to abruptly walk away after recording with Kanye West, Redman and Will.i.Am. This his first song in over a decade.
The Justin Warfield and Hot Karl “1990s” remix is part of a series of remixes that will be released over the coming weeks, and is the follow-up premiere to the Nothing and Nobody (Mark Hoppus and Chris Holmes) remix.
