Fefe Dobson is about to embark on her Firebird tour beginning March 26th in Calgary, Alberta and ending in Barre, Ontario on April 12th. Dobson’s new track “Celebrate” premiered during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games opening ceremony on CBC.
Currently, Dobson has sold over 314,000 singles along with 3 major hit pop radio tracks called “Ghost”, “Stutterin” and “Can’t Breathe.” These three singles were also major video successes on MuchMusic.
The singles “Ghost” and “Stutterin” have been certified platinum and “Can’t Breath” has been certified gold.
Dobson herself has won 1 award, received 4 nominations and did TWO performances at the 2011 MMVA’s! Nominations Included: Video of the Year: “Ghost” / Pop Video of the Year: “Ghost” / International Video of the Year by a Canadian: “Stutterin” / UR FAVE Video: “Stutterin” (Winner).
She has also performed at the 2010 CTV Olympic Celebration and the Opening ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics, Sang on the Young Artists for Haiti “Waiving Flag” charity single, and performed at the CHUM FM Christmas Wish Broadcast and National City TV New Year’s Eve live broadcast.
Fans may have recognized her on a variety of film and television appearances such as Sears and Wireless Wave commercials, “Hellcats”, “Whip It” trailer (FOX Films), “American Idol” Top 24 Season 9, “America’s Next Model” promos, HGTV promos, “Lipstick Jungle”, “Basketball Wives”, Upcoming Shaun White Skateboarding video game (Ubisoft), Rachel Ray, and an appearance on the Family Channel show “Wingin It” and performing her singles “Ghost” and “Stutterin.”
