Matthew Morrison, the Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe-nominated star, has officially released his new holiday EP, “A Classic Christmas.” The EP is a set of holiday tunes from one of the standards world’s most impressive crooners that brings a fresh sound to these cherished Christmas classics. Morrison turned to the late legendary producer Phil Ramone to create 6 songs featured on the EP.
Matthew Morrison is most known for his role on the hit series, “Glee” but the actor is also an incredibly talented singer who continues to wow fans all over the world. His Christmas album will be a great addition to the holiday season. “A Classic Christmas” producer, Ramone, also worked on Morrison’s collection of Broadway standards, “Where it All Began” which was released earlier this year.
In further support of the holiday EP, Morrison will be performing on November 29th and 30th with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Fans can also catch a special performance by Matthew on PBS beginning on November 30th. The network will air a live concert recorded at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, CT that finds Morrison serenading the at-home audience with both timeless Christmas songs and a collection of standards from Where it All Began.
The album is available now via 222 Records at all digital retailers. This marks Morrison’s second release on 222 Records, the newly formed label from Adam Levine.
