Summer Fancy Food Show – More Noteworthy Kids Items

In addition to all the products that made our BSCKids Besties Awards at the 2013 Summer Fancy Food Show® there were a bunch of other products that we wanted to let you know about. In the order we found them, which in reality is no particular order.

Popsalot Popcorn is a delicious Gluten-Free gourmet popcorn that comes in a variety of flavors, my favorite being the Honolulu Aloha. Brad’s Raw Chips were super interesting (and tasty) with the Raw Leafy Kale and Raw Onion Rings being some of the more unique items they had (Gluten-Free as well).

This show is all about great products and decadent cookies fits that bill. Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies had an orange cream filled sandwich cookie that was over the top good. Flamous Brands, Inc. had falafel chips with a new Greek Yogurt and Dill flavor that they debuted at the Food Show. As they state these are the perfect chip for hummus dipping. Chobani had the Champion Tubes, which are not a new product, but to us they were something we had not seen before. We love Chobani and now they kids can have a more nutritional yogurt tube as well.

Sweet Harvest Food brings you PB Crave a natural peanut butter in all different flavors. From Cookie Nookie to Razzle Dazzle (does that mean you don’t need the jelly?) you will turn those normal peanut butter sandwiches into a gourmet sandwiches. New Carbon Company LLC had us taste pancakes made with Gluten-Free Pancake & Waffle Flour and it tasted like a regular pancake.

Beecher’s Fresh Kale and Brown Rice Gratin is a savory delight with the always wonderful Beecher’s cheese. Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts Inc. had an upscale Mochi Ice Cream that would be devoured in our house. A perfect quick dessert that the kids can have in a nice sized portion. Keeps those fingers clean and for the younger kids it would work well. The rice confection on the outside is the perfect match to the gourmet ice-cream inside.

Shanley Farms introduced us to Citriburst Finger Limes (see video below) which are little beads of lime juice that pop in your mouth. They could be added to a salad or to desserts for the kids. The pop of these beads are wonderfully refreshing.
