The next big musical sensation to come out of Canada is the poprock band Marianas Trench. The group is set to release their brand new EP, Face the Music, on May 14th. The video for their current single, entitled “Desperate Measures,” has 1.8 million views on Youtube and growing. Marianas Trench will also be headlining ‘The Noise Tour’ powered by Journeys, kicking off next week and making stops all across North America.
Marianas Trench is the platinum selling Vancouver, British Columbia band who have been a major fixture in the Canadian music scene for the last several years. The band has earned three 2013 Juno nominations and a win for Best Group, numerous Much Music awards and more with their dramatic brand of rock/pop. They have also laid a solid base stateside with consistent touring as part of the Journey’s Backyard BBQ Tour, as well as dates with The Ready Set, Allstar Weekend, The Downtown Fiction and We Are The In Crowd.
