Meet Mickey Mouse And Minnie Mouse At Animal Kingdom’s Adventurers Outpost

The new Adventurers Outpost has officially opened today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island. The location is a brand new and fun location where park guests will get to meet the characters Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as well as other character meet and greets held at the location.

Inside the new location you’ll find lots of mementos from Mickey and Minnie’s expeditions around the globe! The rooms at the location will have photographs of their journeys, near and far, as well as some items they take on their trips (camera, binoculars, suitcases). The room has a Hidden Mickey too! Then, get Mickey and Minnie’s autograph as well as a picture with the pair.

Creating this new area for Mickey and Minnie reportedly is also to make room for an upcoming attraction revolving around James Cameron’s Avatar and the world of Pandora. It is believed that the attraction will take place at the park’s Camp Minnie-Mickey area – the previous home of Mickey and Minnie meet-and-greets. Therefore Mickey and Minnie moved to Discovery Island is likely an early step in dramatically reshaping an entire park area.
