Jack Black, one of the funniest and talented actors, recently appeared on the children’s show, “Sesame Street.” Black appeared on the incredibly beloved and continually airing children’s television series alongside the iconic character of Elmo in a skit about “Disguises.”
In the clip, the tricky fellow that is Jack Black tries to fool Elmo with various disguises.
By keeping up with media trends such as this, I don’t think it is surprising that “Sesame Street” remains as the longest running American children’s series. Since its premiere in 1969, it has continually offered educational and creative content for children. As of 2009, Sesame Street has won 8 Grammy Awards and 143 Emmy Awards which is more than any other children’s show. Almost 95% of people have seen the show and it doesn’t look like it will be ending anytime soon.
I think Jack Black is fantastic and hilarious. Black has long been loved by children for his acting style like in films such as School of Rock. It is always nice to see big name actors appear on these children’s shows. I think all preschoolers should watch “Sesame Street” as it aims to make learning more fun and engaging than most of the other children’s shows.
