The Nickelodeon premiere of the highly anticipated series, “Sam & Cat” is right around the corner and show creator Dan Schneider has released a new promo for the show to fans. The series stars Jennette McCurdy, from “iCarly” fame, and Ariana Grande, from “Victorious.” It is a crossover spin-off of both “iCarly” and “Victorious,” with McCurdy reprising her role as Sam Puckett and Grande reprising her role as Cat Valentine. The series will be about these two girls as they buddy up as roommates and start a babysitting business to fund their adventures.
I have always liked the idea of crossover/spin-off series as it allows you to see other characters continue their adventures when the main character’s story ends. I also like the idea of these two minor characters getting a show where they are the stars. Both these actresses are also singers so it would be nice if that is presented in the show a little bit as well. What are you most looking forward to with this series?
Watching the promo it appears that the series will be very similar to both “iCarly” and “Victorious.” So I bet if you like those show you will LOVE this one. Will you be watching it when it premieres?
