Disney has announced the release of the new “The Muppets Costume Pack” downloadable content for their Disney Universe. The pack is now available on the Xbox LIVE online entertain,end network and will be soon available for the Playstation Network later this month.
The new costume pack coincides with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of Disney;s 2011 hit family comedy “The Muppets.” The pack consists of new character costumers inspired by Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Animal. Each costume will also come with a specific upgradable tool. Individual costumes for “The Muppets Costume Pack” are available now for download on Xbox LIVE.
The new pack and costumes joins the previously released “Phineas and Ferb” level, “The Jungle Book Costume Pack,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” level and the “Disney Villains Costume Pack.”
“Disney Universe” is a four person multiplayer experience with gameplay that appeals to players of all ages. Players can visit themed environments from Disney•Pixar hits such as “WALL•E” and “Monsters, Inc.,” Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and the Academy Award® winning classics, “The Lion King” and “Aladdin.”

The game features 45 classic and contemporary iconic character costumes, including ones inspired by Sam Flynn, Quorra and Clu (“TRON”), Baloo (“The Jungle Book”), Ariel (“The Little Mermaid”), Sulley (“Monsters, Inc.”), Nemo (“Finding Nemo”) and everyone’s favorite pixie, Tinker Bell (“Peter Pan”). Dozens of other character costumes are also featured in the game, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck.
“Disney Universe” will continue to expand with new content, including worlds, costumes, and more available for download, giving Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 system owners an ever-evolving gameplay experience.
