Ivian Sarcos, 21 years of age and also Miss Venezuela was named to the title of Miss World in London. Ivian is a graduate from Venezuela in human resources and wants to work with children won the crowd in from of a live broadcast to over 150 countries. It was watched by a billion viewers and yes that is with a “b”. Like all of these types of events there was a feminist demonstration that took place but it did not seem to disrupt any of the event.
Sarcos, who won over more than 100 contestants, has hobbies that keep her in shape including volleyball, moutaineering and has already started her own foundation that is set to help children. That is more than most of us have done already. Ivian was one of many children growing and said her proudest moment was when she first took Communion, something that this country probably does not relate to as well as others these days. Ivian looked absolutely stunning throughout the whole event and her crown was well deserved. Miss Philippines was the runner up and Miss Puerto Rico came in third. Take note that next year the Miss World event will be held in China.
Congrats to Ivian Sarcos, Miss World 2011. We hope all of your dreams come true and you reach your goals!
