Demi Lovato’s Official Skyscraper Music Video

Demi Lovato seems to be on a fast track for her new album, since she has already released the music video for “Skyscraper”. The former Disney star has surprised fans with an early release of her newest music video that accompanies her hit single. You will find it at the bottom of this post for those who wish to watch the moving video.

The video is a really simple one with just Demi in an open field. She expresses her emotions and feelings from deep within. It sticks to the point and message of the song, which is exactly what Demi wanted. While it was a straight to the point kind of video, it does tell the tale that Demi has lived through. She wanted a undone kind of video for a song that she had minimal work on production.

I have to say that I was hoping for a more dramatic video from her for this single. But I do think the music video fits what she wanted. I just think that maybe it could have been a tiny bit more of a story teller than it is in real life. I do wonder if this music video and single is giving us a real sample of what to expect from her upcoming album? I know she says she is going for a more r&b sound with it, which “Skyscraper” doesn’t really fit in that genre. What do you think about the music video?
