Thew new film, “Annabelle Hooper and The Ghosts of Nantucket” is about to release on Digital HD and On Demand beginning August 9 and the star, Bailee Madison, recently spoke out about her love for the movie and her work on the project behind the camera.

Annabelle Hooper is a young mystery writer in search of a story for her future best-selling novel. On a family vacation in Nantucket, she uncovers a 200 year-old mystery that provides Annabelle with the inspiration she’s been seeking. Along with local brother-and-sister duo of Jake and Maddi, Annabelle dives into a world of eccentric thieves, psychics, a hazy figure in white, and a mysterious boy named Billy. With an old journal as their guide, the friends follow the clues into adventure.

Madison said,

This film will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was the first time I was able to step on set wearing the producer hat. It was such a humbling and wonderful learning experience for me. I loved being behind the camera and watching the talented cast and crew pour their hearts into this film.

“Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket” is something that every member of the family can enjoy. It’s a timeless film that I think kids, parents, and grandparents will all connect with.

Nantucket was such a beautiful location to film in and was really a character all in itself. I can’t wait for fans to get to know Annabelle and hopefully come on this journey with her for many mysteries to come.

“Annabelle Hooper and The Ghosts of Nantucket” was directed by Paul Serafini. It was written by Kieran McGowan, Stefne Miller, and Paul Serafini.

Watch Annabelle on Digital HD and On Demand beginning August 9. You can also check out the photos from the set below.
