What can you tell us about your role in the new Nickelodeon series, “Sam & Cat”
Well, Dice is the cool and collected next door neighbor who knows all the gossip, neighbors and could get you pretty much anything you need.

How supportive has your family been about your acting career?
They have been extremely supportive from the beginning.

Do you share any similarities with your character, Dice, on the show and what is your process for getting into character for Dice?
We both dress pretty cool and getting into character comes natural to me.

How do you balance being in school and an actor?
Well, I happen to be schooled on set through a virtual on-line academy school.

Do your friends treat you any differently since becoming an actor?
Not at all, we try to keep in touch as much as possible.

If you could work with one celebrity who would it be and why?
I would love to work with Jim Carrey because he is so funny.

What are your hobbies outside of acting? Do you do any mixed martial arts like Goomer?
I play video games and perform magic. As for mixed martial arts, I have practiced the art since I was 7 years old in Karate, Jiu Jitsu and some boxing.

What has been the hardest scene to film while on “Sam & Cat” and how it is working with Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande?
Holding a dog for a long time while completing a scene. Working with Jenette and Arianna is amazing and lots of fun, once in a lifetime opportunity.

Any information you can give us on new episodes of “Sam & Cat” coming up? Anything you can tell us about this season of the show? Any favorite scenes?Unfortunately I can’t give away any upcoming information but I will say that the upcoming shows are just as funny, so stay tuned. This first season went so well that Nickelodeon extended the season for another 20 shows which is amazing. My favorite scene is working with the animals.

Can you tell us any funny behind the scenes stories? Who is the person that pulls the most pranks while on set?
The one that pops out is when Jennette was on set, I decided to toilet paper her dressing room as a joke and she got me back several days later.

Your favorite show on the Nickelodeon (besides “Sam &Cat” of course) and why?
Both ICarly and Victorious were my favorite shows growing up as well as Drake and Josh all because I love all of Dan Schneider’s work.

Are there any celebrities you are dying to meet?
Jim Carrey and Johnny Depp.

Do you have brothers or sisters of your own and how did that help prepare you for this role?
I have an older brother and younger sister but I’m sure somehow they have helped me for my current role that I play.

Who is the coolest celebrity you have met while being an actor?Miranda Cosgrove

Going to put you on the spot here, favorite Nickelodeon star past or present and why?
Josh Peck, because he was very funny to me while growing up and watching Drake and Josh.

Any other projects you have coming up you can tell us about?
None at the moment, just concentrating on Sam & Cat.

Cameron Ocasio, currently stars as ‘Dice’ in the buzzworthy Nickelodeon series, “Sam & Cat” alongside Ariana Grande & Jennette McCurdy.

His character ‘Dice’ is the cool, connected, dealmaker of the apartment building. He knows every tenant and all of the gossip. He brings his lively energy into the girls’ lives through his various off-beat interests, from managing a goofy MMA fighter to being a successful hair model. His antics are hilarious and he definitely steals the scene!

With a black belt achieved at just seven years old, television, film, and theater actor, Cameron Ocasio, knew at a young age that he could accomplish anything he put his mind to. At the ripe age of thirteen, Cameron is proving this theory, with a few more ‘notches on his belt’ from hitting the Great White Way to acting opposite greats on the small and silver screens. On the acting side, his proudest role to date marked his Broadway debut, playing Lyncoya in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Other credits of his include roles alongside Ethan Hawke (Sinister,) Catherine Zeta Jones (The Rebound) and Josh Duhamel (When in Rome) as well as spots on Saturday Night Live, Law & Order: SVU, Gossip Girl, and Sesame Street.
