DUCKTALES – “Astro B.O.Y.D.!”

DuckTales is going to be all new tomorrow with the “Astro B.O.Y.D.!” episode where Huey, Gyro, and Fenton all take a trip to Japan to try and get a malfunctioning B.O.Y.D. robot working again. Huey has bonded with this robot boy and we will get to see a bit more about Gyro’s past in this episode and timeline which is always enjoyable. There are a slew of guest stars in this episode as we get introduced into two new characters, Inspector Tezuka (Tamlyn Tomita) and Akita (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) who will figure into this plot.

DUCKTALES – “Astro B.O.Y.D.!” – Gyro, Fenton and Huey take a malfunctioning B.O.Y.D. back to the lab where he was created in Japan, but as Huey bonds with the robot boy, a secret from Gyro’s past threatens to destroy the city and Gizmoduck. This episode of “DuckTales” airs May 2 (9:30-10:00 A.M. EDT) on Disney XD.

*Lin-Manuel Miranda (Broadway’s “Hamilton”) and Jim Rash (“Community”) return as Gizmoduck/Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera and Gyro, respectively. Tamlyn Tomita (ABC’s “The Good Doctor”) guest stars as Inspector Tezuka, a tough-minded police officer, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (“The Man in the High Castle”) guest stars as Akita, an infamous doctor of robotics.
