WWE and Disney Are Bringing “Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday” to the Wrestling Ring With an All-New Fan Experience!

Get ready for a rather unexpected crossover because the worlds of WWE and Marvel are coming together for a special two-day event this December!

With Marvel Studios preparing to bring some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes back to the big screen in Avengers: Doomsday, The Walt Disney Company and WWE are expanding their partnership with a new celebration combining professional wrestling, superhero entertainment and immersive fan experiences.

And it’s all taking place at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida!

Scheduled for December 14 and 15, the two-day takeover will feature two major wrestling events, including the inaugural John Cena Classic and a special Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide, bringing together some of WWE’s biggest stars for a celebration leading up to the film’s theatrical debut.

Kicking off the festivities on December 14, The John Cena Classic will see familiar faces from WWE’s Raw and SmackDown compete alongside rising talent from NXT. But there’s an interesting twist to the event, as fans will have the opportunity to help determine which Superstar receives the night’s top honor.

Through WWE’s new Club WWE membership program, participating fans will be able to vote in real time for their favorite performance, with the winning Superstar receiving the inaugural recognition.

The event will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw.

But the following evening is where Marvel fans will find something particularly exciting.

On December 15, WWE will host a special Avengers: Doomsday edition of Worlds Collide, bringing together Superstars from WWE, NXT and AAA for a crossover event celebrating the upcoming Marvel Studios film.

And while the event will bring some superhero excitement into the wrestling world, the celebration won’t be limited to what happens inside the ring.

Throughout the two days, WWE and Fanatics will also host WWE World, an immersive fan experience at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, giving visitors opportunities to meet WWE Superstars through photo sessions and autograph experiences while exploring exclusive merchandise.

And for fans of both WWE and Marvel, there will be some special collectibles joining the celebration!

The companies are introducing a collection of Avengers: Doomsday and WWE co-branded merchandise, including championship title belts inspired by the collaboration. These items will be available through WWE World, WWEShop.com and select Disney retail locations.

The crossover arrives just days before Avengers: Doomsday makes its theatrical debut on December 18, giving fans another way to join in on the excitement surrounding Marvel’s next major cinematic adventure.

And considering how both WWE and Marvel have built such recognizable worlds around larger-than-life characters, dramatic rivalries and unforgettable moments, it’s an interesting combination that brings two very different forms of entertainment together.

The WWE and Disney takeover will take place December 14–15, 2026, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida, with The John Cena Classic streaming live on Netflix on December 14.

For fans who enjoy both superhero adventures and the excitement of professional wrestling, it looks like December is bringing an entirely new kind of crossover to the ring!
