When you’re little, the world is filled with endless possibilities. From dreaming of becoming a doctor or veterinarian to imagining what it might be like to teach a classroom full of students, there are so many different things children can dream of doing when they grow up.
And while those dreams might change a hundred times along the way, discovering what people do every day and how their jobs help others can be an exciting part of growing up.
Now, one familiar preschool character is helping young children explore those possibilities in a new way.
DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s beloved preschool series Milo is expanding its digital collection with the introduction of Amazing To Be Bookreads, an all-new addition to Milo’s BookReads that brings the world of different professions to life through stories narrated by the very people who do those jobs.
And this time, children won’t just be hearing about what it means to have a particular job. They’ll be learning from real professionals who can share a little about their own experiences and what makes their work so special.
The first installment of Amazing To Be Bookreads introduces young audiences to the world of teaching, with educator and children’s educational book author Giulia Montanari joining the series to share what it means to be a teacher.
Through an illustrated story and her own narration, Montanari helps children discover what a teacher does throughout the day and the important role educators play in helping young learners discover new things, develop their skills and grow.
Each episode of the new collection will follow a similar format, beginning with an introduction from a special guest before moving into an illustrated story centered around their profession. And to bring everything together, each installment concludes with a message encouraging children to explore their own interests and imagine the many possibilities waiting for them in the future.
But teaching is only the beginning.
Future installments will introduce young audiences to professionals from a variety of fields and countries, including singer-songwriter Laura Moreno, pediatrician Nerea Sarrión and veterinarian Gonçalo da Graça, giving children an opportunity to discover how different careers contribute to the world around them.
The new collection is also part of a much bigger expansion for Milo, which continues to grow beyond its original animated series through music, digital content and interactive experiences.
And there is even more to look forward to in 2027!
Milo is preparing to return for its third season with 52 all-new episodes, bringing Milo, Lofty and Lark back for more adventures as they explore additional professions and meet new characters. Among the new additions is Twilo, Milo’s little sister, who will be joining the expanding world of the series.
The upcoming season will also place a greater emphasis on music and visual humor, offering young viewers even more ways to enjoy the adventures of Milo and his friends.
The first episode of Amazing To Be Bookreads is available now in Italian on YouTube and Spotify, with additional stories and special guests set to join the collection in the future.
And for little ones who are just beginning to wonder what they might want to be when they grow up, Milo is helping show that there is a whole world of possibilities waiting to be discovered.
