Coming in hot off the epic conclusion of its first season, the newest chapter in one of animation’s most beloved franchises is already preparing to bring its adventures from the streaming world into fans’ homes in an all-new way!
That’s right, Avatar: Seven Havens, the latest installment in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, is getting a physical home media release, giving fans an opportunity to add the newest generation of Avatar adventures to their collections.
Following the events of The Legend of Korra, the newest animated series takes viewers into a world that has been forever changed by a devastating disaster. And while the Avatar has long been seen as a symbol of balance and hope, things are quite different for the newest person to inherit that responsibility.
At the center of the story is a young Earthbender who discovers that she is the next Avatar following Korra. But rather than being welcomed as the world’s protector, she finds herself viewed as a harbinger of destruction, forcing her and her twin to navigate a dangerous world where both humans and spirits are pursuing them.
Together, the two find themselves caught in a race to save the Seven Havens, setting the stage for a new chapter that continues to explore the ever-changing world of the Avatar and the responsibilities that come with carrying such an extraordinary legacy.
And now, with the first season having reached its conclusion, fans who prefer having their favorite animated adventures on their shelves rather than relying entirely on streaming services have something new to look forward to.
