Our bodies can do some pretty incredible things.
They let us run. Jump. Dance. Explore new places, try something we have never done before and give the people we love some very big hugs.
And those are things worth celebrating.
Meekah is helping young children discover just how amazing their bodies can be with “My Body Is Amazing,” a new music video created through a partnership between Moonbug Entertainment and the Dove Self-Esteem Project.
Designed to help build and protect body confidence from an early age, the new song shifts the conversation away from what our bodies look like and toward everything they allow us to experience, explore and enjoy.
It’s a simple distinction, but an important one.
Children begin learning about themselves and the world around them long before many of the bigger conversations surrounding confidence and self-esteem take place. “My Body Is Amazing” approaches those ideas on their level, using movement, music and self-expression to encourage kids to appreciate their bodies for what they can do.
And Meekah feels like a particularly fitting friend to help deliver that message.
As Blippi’s best friend, Meekah’s adventures are already built around curiosity, movement and jumping into new experiences. That same energy becomes part of “My Body Is Amazing,” encouraging kids to move in their own ways, try something new and have fun expressing themselves.
“Movement and self-expression are such a natural part of who she is,” Liz Katz, associate general manager of Blippi who leads the Meekah franchise at Moonbug Entertainment, said of the collaboration.
For Dove, the music video is another way to bring body confidence education into the spaces where children are already spending their time.
The Dove Self-Esteem Project has worked for more than 20 years to support body confidence and self-esteem among young people, and “My Body Is Amazing” brings those ideas beyond a traditional classroom setting and into a song children can watch, hear, dance to and enjoy.
This also isn’t the first time Moonbug Entertainment and Dove have worked together to introduce these conversations to young audiences.
The companies previously partnered in 2024 on “Blippi” episodes and music videos centered around body confidence and self-esteem, including the “Wonderful Talent Show” special. This time, Meekah takes the lead as the message becomes tied directly to her love of movement and creative expression.
And she has quite the audience listening.
The wider “Blippi” brand averages more than one billion monthly views on YouTube and reaches more than 100 million fans around the world, while Meekah-related content alone averages more than 200 million monthly YouTube views. The franchise is available in more than 25 languages, including ASL, across more than 65 distribution platforms.
Those are some very big numbers behind a message intended for some very young viewers.
But perhaps that’s what makes this collaboration particularly meaningful.
Body confidence doesn’t have to begin with a complicated conversation about appearance. For a young child, it can begin by recognizing that their legs helped them run across the playground, their hands helped them create something or their entire body helped them dance to their favorite song.
Their body doesn’t have to look a certain way to be amazing.
It already is amazing because of everything it helps them do.
“My Body Is Amazing” is available now on YouTube, giving families another way to sing, dance, move and perhaps remind little ones of something they deserve to know from the very beginning.
Their bodies are capable of some pretty incredible things.
Now turn up the music and see what they can do.
