And now, the beloved magnetic building toy brand is preparing to bring that same creativity to the world of animation!
Magna-Tiles has officially announced the launch of Magna-Tales, its first-ever original animated series, bringing young viewers into a colorful new world where imagination, friendship and the possibilities of building something extraordinary are at the heart of every adventure.
Set in the imaginative world of Builders Bay, the series introduces children to Maggie, Tyler, Sparky, Clyde and Mayor Rudy, a character created as a special tribute to Magna-Tiles founder Rudy Valenta. Together, the friends will find themselves embarking on all sorts of adventures, discovering how a little creativity and teamwork can help turn even the biggest ideas into reality.
And for children who already love playing with Magna-Tiles, there will be plenty of familiar things to discover throughout the series!
The animated world draws inspiration from the brand’s popular building sets, including the new Undersea Adventure set from its 2026 Ocean Collection. Young viewers can also expect an assortment of playful surprises along the way, including recurring appearances from some rather amusing fainting goats.
But Magna-Tales is about more than simply bringing the familiar toys to the screen. The series has been developed to encourage children to take the adventures they watch and recreate them through their own imaginative play, combining storytelling, music and problem-solving with the hands-on creativity that has become synonymous with the Magna-Tiles brand.
Alongside the animated episodes, families can enjoy original music, including the new song “Click It” and a seasonal Halloween treat, “Magna-Tales Spooktacular.”
And the adventures won’t be limited to the screen for long!
Beginning in January 2027, Magna-Tiles will introduce a new assortment of companion toys featuring Maggie, Tyler, Sparky and Clyde, allowing young fans to bring their favorite characters into their own building adventures. The upcoming Magna-Tales Friends Pack is already available for pre-order on Amazon.
Magna-Tales is launching this October on the official Magna-Tiles Kids TV YouTube channel, with new episodes and original songs scheduled to arrive weekly through the end of the 2026 holiday season.
