“PAW Patrol” Goes All In Ahead of “The Dino Movie” With Massive Consumer Products Push

As PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie races toward theaters later this month, Spin Master and Paramount are making one thing abundantly clear—the adventure doesn’t begin when families sit down in the theater.

Instead, it’s already here.

In the weeks leading up to the film’s Aug. 14 release, PAW Patrol is rolling out one of its largest coordinated consumer products campaigns to date, transforming the latest big-screen adventure into an experience that extends well beyond the cinema. From toys and fashion to video games, audio adventures and immersive retail experiences, nearly every corner of the franchise is embracing the prehistoric world introduced in the upcoming film.

It’s another example of how today’s biggest preschool brands are no longer built around a single movie or television series. Instead, they’re creating connected worlds where children can continue the adventure long before—and long after—the credits roll.

Leading the charge is Spin Master’s extensive toy lineup inspired directly by the film. The collection introduces everything from dinosaur-themed rescue vehicles and interactive playsets to large-scale headquarters, inflatable dinosaur surprises and movie-inspired plush. Highlights include the transforming Dino Mobile HQ, Rocky’s Megasaurus Dino Vehicle featuring a two-foot inflatable dinosaur, themed rescue vehicles for each pup and the Super Lava Blast Playset complete with lights, sounds and erupting lava effects. Melissa & Doug is also joining the lineup with a 16-piece dinosaur role-play adventure set designed to bring the film’s missions into imaginative everyday play.

Fashion is also taking center stage.

PUMA has unveiled a full apparel and footwear collaboration blending the brand’s signature sportswear aesthetic with the prehistoric world of The Dino Movie. Alongside dinosaur-inspired Speedcats, Palermo and RS-Surge sneakers, the collection includes graphic tees, track jackets and matching apparel designed around the film’s newest adventure.

Ground Up is expanding the footwear lineup even further with sneakers, clogs and sandals arriving at retailers including Target, Walmart and Harrods. Designs feature Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rex and the rest of the rescue crew alongside dinosaur-inspired details, metallic finishes and collectible character elements.

For families looking to continue the story away from screens, Yoto has launched an exclusive PAW Patrol: Let’s Dino Do This! audio adventure. The 45-minute original story sends Ryder, Rex and the pups back to Dino Island in an all-new adventure built specifically for Yoto’s growing library of screen-free audio content.

Meanwhile, Outright Games is taking the franchise into interactive entertainment with PAW Patrol: Dino World. Available now across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC, the original adventure lets players explore four dinosaur-filled regions while controlling six of the franchise’s iconic pups as they rescue dinosaurs and stop Mayor Humdinger’s latest scheme. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned for later this fall.

The expansion doesn’t stop there.

Books, plush, outdoor activities and back-to-school products are also arriving through Paramount Products & Experiences, while London’s Natural History Museum recently opened a dedicated PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie pop-up experience, giving families another opportunity to step into the film’s prehistoric world ahead of release.

Taken together, the rollout showcases just how far PAW Patrol has evolved since its television debut. What was once primarily a preschool animated series has grown into one of entertainment’s largest family franchises—one capable of delivering coordinated launches across toys, gaming, fashion, publishing, experiential retail and theatrical entertainment all at once.

As PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie prepares to hit theaters, the franchise isn’t simply promoting a film. It’s building an entire world for families to explore across nearly every part of their daily lives.

Jocelin Cap: Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
