Get ready to return to the world of Angry Birds because Red, Chuck, Bomb and the rest of the crew are getting ready for another adventure on the big screen this holiday season!
That’s right, Paramount Pictures has released an all-new trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3, giving fans another look at the upcoming animated sequel as the beloved video game franchise prepares to return to theaters this December. And while saving the world is certainly nothing new for these familiar feathered faces, this time Red is facing a challenge that might just be a little more complicated than anything he has encountered before.
Fatherhood.
In the newest installment, Red finds himself balancing the responsibilities of raising his children with another adventure that will once again put the fate of the world in his hands. And judging by the newly released trailer and poster, fans can expect plenty of the humor, chaos and larger-than-life antics that have become such a recognizable part of the franchise since its first theatrical outing.
But the new trailer isn’t only giving audiences another glimpse at the upcoming film.
It also features an all-new song from BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, titled “Sun Showers,” bringing the K-pop star’s music into the world of Angry Birds. The new track is currently available to pre-save ahead of its release, giving fans something else to look forward to as the film’s theatrical debut approaches.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an Angry Birds adventure without the voices that have helped bring these characters to life.
Jason Sudeikis returns as Red alongside Josh Gad as Chuck and Danny McBride as Bomb, with Rachel Bloom returning as Silver. The upcoming film also welcomes a sizable cast of new and familiar talent, including Emma Myers as June, Walker Scobell as Glider, Tim Robinson as Porkchop and James Austin Johnson as Fuzzy, the family’s pet.
Other members of the voice cast include Lily James, Keke Palmer, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, Marcello Hernández, MrBeast, Salish Matter, Psalm West and Sam Richardson.
Behind the scenes, the newest chapter is directed by John Rice, who previously served as co-director on The Angry Birds Movie 2, with a screenplay from Thurop Van Orman, who directed the second film.
With the return of some familiar faces, a new generation of characters and another adventure waiting just around the corner, The Angry Birds Movie 3 is bringing the franchise back to theaters just in time for families looking for a little animated fun over the holiday break.
The Angry Birds Movie 3 arrives exclusively in theaters December 23, 2026.
